PropHerald (the website at propherald.com and the iOS and Android apps) shows public data about Singapore property. Most of what it does needs nothing from you: browsing the map, searching, and reading building pages work without an account, and we don't profile you or show ads.
The website uses Firebase / Google Analytics to measure aggregate usage: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from (country/city level, derived from IP), and device/browser type. It sets a first-party cookie with a random identifier to tell returning visitors apart; it is not tied to your account and we do not send Google your email, name, or anything you type. We use these statistics only to understand which parts of the site are useful. You can block the analytics script (it loads from googletagmanager.com and gstatic.com) with any content blocker and the site works exactly the same.
Sign-in is provided by rella.im (our own account service). Push notifications are delivered through Apple and Google's notification services. Map base tiles are fetched from OneMap (Singapore Land Authority) directly by your device, and building data comes from public government sources (URA, HDB, LTA, NEA, data.gov.sg) and OpenStreetMap.
The iOS and Android apps use Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to collect crash reports: stack traces, device model, OS version, and an app-install identifier. Crash reports contain no account information, no location history, and no browsing content; we use them solely to find and fix bugs. Crashlytics data is retained by Google for 90 days. The website does not use Crashlytics; its usage analytics are described above.
Sign out at any time to stop new data. To delete your account and everything tied to it (watchlist, push tokens, alert history), email hello@rella.im or use the feedback form — deletion is completed within 30 days.
